Hello everyone! My name is Bill Wang and I am a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame. As of now I’m sitting in a lovely hotel in Costa Rica, taking a break from my early morning patrol on the beach in search for the Olive Ridley Turtle.
I’ve always been fascinated and thrilled about wildlife, pouring over the content of Blue Planet and Planet Earth millions of time. My previous work experience landed me in the desert of Xinjiang surveying migratory birds, the shores of Lake Michigan using biomarkers to detect invasive species, and now the warmth of Costa Rica studying sea turtles. I hope to have a great and insightful experience in China working with the giant pandas.
