Panda People!

Another week has past! Last week was dedicated to doing stereotype observations and I got to watch one of my favorite pandas, Wu Gang! He’s the only panda at the base with a pink nose. After he eats his favorite snack – panda bread – he spends a good 15 minutes just licking crumbs off of his stomach and off the floor – can’t waste even one crumb!

I also watched Duo Duo, a female who is living at the breeding center right now, but she doesn’t have a baby (yet?). She is super curious – every time I moved she had to come up to the bars and watch what I was doing. I swear I could look into her soul when she stared at me; I suppose we are bonded in a way now. I can’t wait until next month when I can observe her again.

P.S. We found “spicy” Cheetos in Chengdu, but it was totally just a bag of salty lies. Not Flaming Hot Cheetos. And we had bought 12 bags. Jokes on us.
